Join the fun with our first Adult Recess series, hosted by Toppling Goliath. This first recess will feature the classic game of Kickball!
Format is as follows:
–Must be age 21 or older to participate
-Max of 12 players per team
-Teams can be any combination of men and women
-No more than 10 players on the field, unlimited substitution
Team registration is FREE and should be completed prior to the activity, and emailed to parkrec@decorah.iowa.gov.

Meet at the Decorah slow pitch fields for a 5:00pm start time. Kickball will run for one-hour (tentatively) before participants can head over to toppling Goliath and enjoy half off AIM Elevated Ale Pints and Appetizers. Participants who provide a valid ID at activity will receive a wristband which will allow you to receive food or beverage promotions provided by the host.
Adult Recess is a NEW 21+ only program that allows adults to be kids! This 12-week series brings you friendly competitions through a variety of games, all while enjoying drink and appetizer specials available for purchase at local businesses.
This program will meet every Thursday, 5:00pm-7:00pm, starting September 5th!
Decorah Parks and Recreation has partnered with six different businesses who will rotate hosting Adult Recess, providing a different location, activity, and food/drink specials each week. Pre-registration is free, but also required for each week of programming as some locations may have limited space.
