PSA:
A park user encountered a coyote while hiking with their dog at Van Peenan Park. Per the hiker, the coyote looked healthy and appeared to be protecting a den. The encounter area was near Pines West/Pines Connector/Prairie Loop trails. Please be aware while using this area and report any additional sightings.
