The Dunning’s Spring Steps are once again re-opened for use! Enjoy the weather this weekend, and enjoy exploring the great outdoors!
Tuesday, November 18th
Work will continue on the Dunning’s Springs Steps beginning Tuesday, November 18th. The steps will be CLOSED through the week, with hopes of re-opening once again for the weekend. Updates will be posted!
Friday, October 31st
We are halfway through the Dunning’s Spring Steps Project and we are excited to share that the steps are re-opened for the public!
Once again, this is an ongoing project with more work to be done. Stay tuned for updates.
Monday, October 27th
Work on the Dunning’s Spring stairs continues this week. Please abide by posted signage until work is complete.
Friday, October 17th
Work to the first flight of stairs is complete, and is open to the public.
The stairs also grants you access to our new trail that was constructed by Decorah Human Powered Trails (DHPT) and the Decorah Rotary Club.
Wednesday, October 8th, 2025
The stairs at Dunning’s Spring will be CLOSED to the public until further notice to undergo construction and maintenance.
