Who’s ready to play?!
The new hoops are up and ready at Carl Selland Wayside Park!
Site work and installation was completed by Decorah Parks and Recreation staff. The court lines will be re-painted in the Spring of 2026.
Thank you to all who contributed to this project financially through the Winneshiek County Community Foundation!
Anyone can continue to donate towards this project as funds will be needed for upkeep and maintenance of the hoops, and the courts, for the foreseeable future. Click the link below to learn more and donate:

Changes are coming to Carl Selland Wayside Park!
Funding through the Wayside Basketball Hoops Fund has allowed us to begin the first steps towards replacing ALL of the hoops at the park.
At this time, the park is closed for construction and we ask all residents and visitors to stay clear of the area for everyone’s safety.
