Decorah Parks and Recreation is excited to share that Adult Recess (ages 21 and older) is back for 2025! The series brings you friendly competitions through a variety of games, all while enjoying drink and appetizer specials available for purchase at local businesses. This program will meet on various Thursdays in the upcoming months, 5:30pm-7:30pm (unless noted otherwise), starting September 11th, 2025.
Decorah Parks and Recreation has partnered with five different businesses who will rotate hosting Adult Recess, providing a different location, activity, and food/drink specials each week.
The following businesses will rotate hosting Adult Recess: The Landing Market, Toppling Goliath Brewing Company, Pulpit Rock Brewing Company, Rubaiyat, Impact Coffee, and Dixie’s Biergarten. Food and beverage prices may vary depending on location. Activities include, but are not limited to, kickball, basketball, whiffle ball, cornhole, volleyball, pickleball, board games/cards, and so much more!
There is no cost to sign up, but it is required to pre-register to accommodate for the appropriate number of participants/teams at each host site.
