Most of the Trout Run Trail has been power washed and swept of debris and other elements, within City of Decorah.
For your safety, trail users are encouraged to stay within city limits and DO NOT go around barricades or blocked off areas.
Cleaning and maintenance will continue on and around the trail over the next couple of days.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Be cautious among areas of high flooding. Sections along Trout Run Trail have expanded, and remain covered with water.
August 17, 2025
Due to heavy rain fall, and rising water levels, parts of the Trout Run Trail have flooded.
Barricades are up and we ask that you please do not go into these areas. Abide by posted signage until they are clear and safe for trail users.
Areas of the trail fall between Wold Park and Dug Road, highlight in blue in the map below.
